I suspect that we are related. Asel McKay married Julienne LeBlanc. 35 years ago, I saw their original marriage certificate, and Julienne's surname was anglicised from LeBlanc, to White! My Dad chuckled about it and laid it down to bigotry. Julienne was Metis, or Half Breed, (As Scottish-Native offspring were called back then). She was half MicMac Indian,(Although I was once told she was half Ojibwa) and Half 'European'. A Beautiful woman, we have photo's of her as a young lady. There were, I believe 3 sisters and one brother born to their marriage. Edna (my great grandmother), I thought one sister was called Myrna, another was definitely Grace. I forget the boys name. I do know that Asel is buried at the St. John's Norway Cemetary in Toronto. Asel worked for Grand Trunk Railroad, and was the first Station master at Wabagoon Station.
