Back again with more Cann queries. James Cann, born Feb. 28, 1858, christened Feb. 17, 1859, Clarke, Durham Co. ON.
Family moved to McGillivray, Middlesex Co. ON and then to Harwich, Kent. James appears on the 1881 census for Harwich with parents and 2 sisters.

James married Nancy Paynter in 1881, Middlesex Co. and had daughter Stella Nancy Cann on July 4, 1882 in Blenheim. He also lost wife Nancy the same day. I think the daughter married in 1905 to ?

James remarried ? in 1884, I think, and left for Battleford, SK in 1905 or 1906. He worked in the Land Titles Office in Battleford for a time and then homesteaded near Adanac, SK.
Wife #2 died in Nov. 1926 and in 1928, James moved in with his daughter in Thamesville and died there when he was over 90 years old.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
