In Josiah Henson's autobiography "Uncle Tom's Story of His Life" published in 1876, he names his children, including son Josiah who moved to Jackson, Michigan with his wife, and later to Adrian, Michigan. I believe the Josiah Henson you found in Jackson is the son of Josiah Henson in Canada. You can access the entire book on line in the rare book collection at the University of North Carolina's website www.lib.unc.edu. Check chapter XXX, pages 198-199. My ancestors also lived in Dresden, Ontario. If I can get more info for you I'll pass it on.
