Pat: I am also looking for Martins in the Lanark area, no idea what township or county etc. All I know is I have a Jemima Martin who married John Scott. John was born in Ireland 1839 and immigrated to Lanark South Beckwith about 1846 with his parents and siblings. John & Jemima married (don't have a date) and had several children one of which was Frederick. John & Jemima lived in Beckwith for several years then moved to Fordwich, Huron Co. Jemima was born 3 May 1840. Does this match with anything in your line.
