Surnames: Merritt/ Murray/ Kaiser/ Keller
I have a John Merritt and Rachel in my family. My John married Rachel Lewis in Vermont. We ahve been told that John was related to William Hamilton Merritt of Canada. We have a tape of the History of the Welland Canal built by William. Have never been able to prove the connection. Do you know where your John and Rachel are from?
I'm told we are also related to the Seven Iron Men Merritts of Minnesota but still researching for these connections. Any connections to your Merritts? Thanks
