This reference came to me from Janis Hanson. It refers to Mary (Minnie) Flesher. It describes their early life in North Dakota.

"She lies with her baby beside George in the Byron Township cemetery. George planted his crop on Manitoulin Island before boarding the train heading west in June of 1887. Minnie came later with their first born son, she was here by 1890. They lived in a soddy until the farmhouse was built. When the second son was born, as Uncle Bert has said he "was born beneath the sod"."
