No, I don't believe he is part of my tree. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure though. Daniel's father, Michael, was born in 1831 in Ireland and no one knows who Michael's father was. Add that to the fact that one of my O'Meara trees (I actually have two seperate ones I'm related to) lists 9 children to a couple of which I only have proof to about 3 children. So I am missing 6 children to this couple.

But Daniel living in Elgin county in 1911 was from a different county then mine settled in. His father lived in Oxford county in the early years then later moved to Perth County. I didn't even know Daniel was living in Elgin county until they released the 1911 census because he does eventually end up in London which is where my family settled upon their arrival from Ireland.

So in the end, because of where the family first settled, I do not believe at this time they are related. But I have their family tree as I keep track of them to help keep all the O'Meara's straight. The family has been well documented and researched by others, but if your friend would like any of the information I have I would be happy to share. Just let me know.

Sincerely,
Sue O'Meara
