The Westminster history book gives Thomas Smith's dates as 1793-1862. Catherine and 5 other children were born in the United States before the
Dales came to Flamborough Twp. in 1811. The original spelling of the name was '
Dihle".
There is nothing else about Thomas, unfortunately.
