Re: Jotham Manning-Anna Dale
Hi Diane,
The message you sent to Loren was forwarded to me. I do have a book written by Melvin Dale "The Dales of Glendale" which has a lot of information in it regarding the Dales, and I was offering this information to Loren.
I am figuring I may be able to take advantage of the information you are offering to find out if there is anything in the recently published history of Westminster and Delaware Townships regarding "Smiths" The Smith I am looking for is Thomas Smith who married Catherine Dale the oldest daughter of Jacob and Anne Dale. They lived in the Adelaide area then moved to Warwick Township. There are a lot of Smiths in both areas. I am trying to ascertain if Thomas was related to other Smiths in the Adelaide/Warwick area around the time of his marriage abt. 1820 in Westminster. I do know the Dales were in Flamboro Twp. before Westminister. I am trying to tie my information in with another researcher, and so far we are just bouncing around in circles.
