Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has any information on the Jose Gaste Cigar Company from about 1903? The company was later purchased by William Ward, and the factory burned down in 1924. If anyone has any information on the employees, or a photo of the employees, I would greatly appreciate it. Any help is appreciated! I'm looking for the father of my great-grandmother. He was Native American, and worked at the cigar factory. She (my great-grandmother) was given to John Sherlock, and he and his wife Sarah adopted her... although I don't think it was a "legal/documented" adoption. John Sherlock also worked at the cigar factory.
