Yes, we are related. Since all these postings, I discovered that my Thos. Parkinson born in 1776 was married to Elizabeth Mape.
My connection is:
Thomas born about 1776;; married 25Aug1796 Mountmellick, Laois to Elizabeth Mape.
George Parkinson born 23Mar1799 in Laois married Elizabeth Westman, born 1806.
Hannah H. Parkinson, born 1846 London Twp. Married Thomas Parkinson, son of Isaac Parkinson, born 24Jun 1804 Mountmellick and Mary Anne Unknown. (Isaac and George were brothers, so Hannah and Thomas were 1st cousins) This confused me for years.
Sarah Georgina Parkinson, born 22June1877, London Twp.
married William George Rigney, born 1872, London Twp.
These are my grandparents. I am the daughter of their son Winston born in 1901, London Twp. In baptism he is William Thomas Winston, Weslyan Methodist.
I got so excited about this, that I could not resist throwing in the whole shabang. Plus I just rejoined Ancestry and somehow missed some of this.
Regards, Nancy Rigney Seger
