Robert Pew, 22, b and living in Stamforth, farmer, s/o Samuel & Sarah Pew, married Mary Stark, 20, b and living Crowland?,d/o John & Mary Stark, witn: Alexander Reid of Crowland? & Samuel Pew of Stamford, 4 Oct 1870, Crowland, Welland County, no registration #.
Robert Pew that died Oct 1928, b about 1850, Welland, has parents William Pew & Bridget Pursel so he isn't yours.

Robert, 32, farmer; Mary 30; Jessie [female] 9; in Stamford, Welland, Ontario.
Same Census has a Samuel & Susan Pew, Stamford, Welland. Samuel is 72 so he could be Robert's father. Sarah could have been misread as Susan or vice versa. There are adult children living with them.
I rechecked the marriage rego and the name is definately Sarah but who knows.
A Samuel Pew, died 3 Feb 1896, age 88, b Stamford Tp, cause- injured by a horse. No other pertinent information on registration.
A Susan Pew died 21 Nov 1885, 65, Stamford Tp, cause-paralysis of brain.
Infant daughter of Samuel Pew, Beechwood, interred Lundy's Lane, Aug 30, age 6 mths. 1833.

No Robert on 1871 census that fits yours.

All born Stamford Tp. Ages are of next birthday so Robert would be 5, making him born c 1847 as this census was really taken in 1852. This could be your Robert and family.
According to his marriage rego, Robert was b in Stamford Tp so this is looking pretty good.
