I looked at the obit for David Phillips Simcoe Reformer 9 Dec. 1937. David Phillips died 3 Dec. 1937 was the youngest son of Joseph Phillips & Margaret Wilson, was 66 yrs. old. his wife was Alfretta Thomas, he lived his entire life on his farm in Walpole near Garnet (near Hagersville) he had one son Mark, 3 daughters and 2 grand daughters, one was Lauretta daughter of his son Robert who predeceased him 5 years ago.
The obit for his wife d. 26 Apr. 1953 75 yrs. name children, son Mark, daugs Helen Renner, Ethel Anderson, Bertha Blackmore. I found no other Robert J. Phillips who came from Hagersville to Pt. Dover.
