Hugh Kerr, a widower, emigrated from Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland to Ingersoll, Ontario, in the early 1850s. He was accompanied by four grown (married) children. One of the children returned to Scotland, and the remaining three, Robert Kerr, Daniel Kerr, and Helen Kerr, settled in the Ingersoll area. Their children, in turn, intermarried with Waring, Gordon, Henderson, Ferguson, Shrapnell, Armstrong, Hegler, and Grundy. Daniel Kerr seems to have established himself as a carriagemaker.
I am interested in contacting descendants of these families.
