Hi Laura
There were actually 4 surviving children. To correct what I said earlier, my grandmother, Louise, was 18 at the time at was in St. Michael's hospital with Typhoid fever. 3 of her siblings, Arnold, Jessie and June were at home when the accident occurred. I don't have much information regarding them, unfortunately.

My mother is very interested in the Bouchard side of the family as she heard about them growing up, but didn't really get to meet them. She did know Jessie Bouchard-Firth, who was her great-aunt. They lived in Toronto and she passed away at the age of 95. She was an interpreter and spoke 5 languages!

Any information that you and/or your boyfriend would be willing to share would be greatly appreciated. I guess we're distant cousins!! :)
