Classification: Query
Surnames: Moore, Tait, Wood, Beckett, McEwen, Moffatt
Looking into some of the following family sets:
Andrew Moore (1847-1929) married Sarah moffatt
Isabella Moore (1851-1932) married William Young Wood
Mary Moore (1851-1922) married John Henry Tait (she was his 2nd or 3rd wife)
Also John Beckett, and a couple of McEwen families.

All of these folks started out in Lanark County, mostly Pakenham area, and all came up to Parry Sound district starting abt 1867ish when the land was opened for establishment.

I haven't fleshed out the details on the Beckett and mcEwen families that I'm wondering about, but I do have some details in my tree already.

I'm hoping to find descendants, and even more so, pictures of the families, and possibly the home/farm where they lived.

If you can help, please feel free to reply here, or email me.
Thanks in advance
Jenny
