I'm not certain but I think the reference to the school is Lot 16 Concession 6, where S.S. # 3 Hibbert was established in 1860, which was one Lot to the east of Michael Hurley's farm and on the opposite side of the road. In the same book for Lot 16 Concession 6, the sale of the lot for the school was in April 1860 and the trustees were Michael McAleer, James Harburn and David Dillon.
