Not sure if you are still there, but I read your message as I was searching for information about children who were sent to Canada via Annie MacPherson's home in Stratford. Just now I came across this page which has a photograph of William Kent and the group of boys who arrived at the home in 1907: http://canadianbritishhomechildren.weebly.com/annie-macphers...
The photo is down the page, under the heading "Apparently part of the group from MacPherson's, Tunisian - 1907-08-02". You may have already seem this.
My interest is in William Nixon, who was sent to Canada in 1904 via the MacPherson home in Stratford from the Coombe Ragged School in Dublin. He was my grandmother's brother and later died as a result of WW1 injuries. I am researching is story and hope to publish it one day.
