Hi,
Somehow feel that there must be a connection. I know very little about the Writt/Waters connection, but I will share what I do know. My great-grandfather, Benjamin William Birdsall was married twice. His first wife was Eliza Waters, marrying her in 1869. After she died, he married Anna Writt in 1880. She would be my great-grandmother. I do know that the Writts and the Waters were Irish and came through Ontario, Canada. I, too, live in Wisconsin.
