I am looking for information on John Balsdon, born about 1820 in Devonshire, England. He is listed in the early Ontario Canada census as being in Perth Co. in 1847. He married Mary Ball in Ontario in 1854 (Jan.). He died on July 9, 1892 in Downie Twp., Perth Co. They have a long list of descendants in Ontario, but I'm trying to link back to his parents, grandparents, etc. in England. I've had no luck in tracing him to a locality in Devonshire.
