Surnames: Levere / Mayhue
Hello:
In response to your elizabeth. Joshua and Rosannah Levere/Mayhue had 12 children. Rumour has it that they changed their name from Levere to Mayhue because of a disagreement with the RC church. In 1861 they are Levere in 1871 they are Mayhue (same family) Elizabeth was stated as born in 1835. I'm related thru Joshawa a younger sibling. Some of the siblings kept Levere and some changed to Mayhue, therefore creating confusion.
