William Hannah GREEN & Jessie Jane WALLACE

Hello
I’m trying to connect with someone who can point me in the right direction. I am looking for information into the family of WILLIAM HANNAH GREEN and JESSIE JANE WALLACE of Wilton, Roxburghshire, Scotland. William Hanna Green married Jessie Jane Wallace in Scotland but moved to Canada sometime between 1881 and 1891.

I am looking for the Parents & Brothers/Sisters of WILLIAM HANNA GREEN and the Scottish/Canadian family connection. WILLIAM HANNA GREEN was born in Wilton, Roxburghshire, Scotland on 17 May 1846 – tbd, and may of died in Essex, Ontario Canada. William’s parents might be listed as James Green and Elizabeth Hannah of Wilton, Roxburghshire, Scotland but I’m not 100% sure.

JESSIE JANE WALLACE born on 31 March 1846 in Wilton, Roxburghshire Scotland and I believe Jessie Jane Wallace died on 25 March 1886 in Essex, Ontario Canada. I believe the parents of Jessie Jane might be George Wallace 1808-1860 and Janet Young 1807-1902 but not 100% sure. I believe the Brothers and Sisters of Jessie Jane are; George, Alison, Peter, and James, and again not 100% sure.

William Hanna & Jessie Jane had 4 children; Janet Green 1867-1940, James 1869-tbd, George 1872-1926, John 1874-tbd. From these children, GEORGE GREEN 1872-1926 married ELIZABETH KELEHER 1877-1927 in Ontario, Canada. George was born in Scotland and moved to Ontario, Canada, and I believe George Green came to Canada in 1909. Elizabeth Keleher was born in Ontario, Canada.

According to the 1891 Ontario Census the following individuals were living with William Hannah Green and Jessie Jane Wallace in Waterloo South, Ontario, Canada; James Green 22yrs, George Green 19 yrs, John Green 16 yrs, and Jessie Alison Hermeston 3 yrs.

Janet Green married Alexander Hermeston in Scotland and together they had nine children, Jessie Alison Hermeston 1887 – tbd, is one of the children of Janet and Alexander.
It would appear that in 1891 Jessie Alison Hermeston to be living with her grandparents William Hanna and Jessie Jane Wallace in Canada. It is assumed that Jessie Alison may have been living with her grandparents, while her parents, Janet and Alexander, were settling in Massachusetts, United States during the same year that Jessie was born in 1887.

George and Elizabeth had four children; William Wallace 1898-1973, John 1900-tbd, George Laverne 1902-1984, and Austin Alexander 1905-1944. GEORGE LAVERNE GREEN 1902-1984 is my Grandfather.

Could someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction, such as other family trees and/or documents? Most of the Canadian family trees stop at William Hanna living in Canada and I have nothing of his roots in Scotland. My main interest, at this point, is the Green Family History and the parents, brothers, sisters of William Hanna Green in Scotland.

Any help would be much appreciated, please and thanks!
