I have several Daspit and St. Amand folks in my tree. They end up there incidentally, as the Fugeres are related to the Rodrigues, and I think the Rodrigues are about 1/2 the population of Louisiana :) I don't have anything even close to complete - maybe 10 Daspits in LA, and some St. Amands from QC.
