I am a little late getting into this discussion on the Mcdonalds from The County. (Prince Edward County in Ontario). Recently I have been putting my wife's family history on ancestry. This includes the Mcdonald line on her mother's side of the family. Greer McDonald (who was married four times) was her great grandfather and her mother's grandfather. Francis Mcdonald is her gr gr grandfather and her mother's great grandfather. David Mcdonald from New Brunswick was his father and my wife's gr gr gr grandfather and her mother's (Lille Mae) Mcdonald's gr gr grandfather. She and her mother grew up in Prince Edward County.
