After a better look at the book, I see that there are FOUR VANKOUGHNET sisters who married THREE MASSEY brothers. I do not connect to these folks in any way, and only borrowed the book because I'd heard there was someone of my line in it. I haven't been able to prove that yet. Below, the lines in the book:

Daniel MASSEY b ca 1776, blacksmith, lived in Augusta and Wolford Twps, & Angeline HAYNES b ca 1786 Germany (11 children)

Their 5th child: George MASSEY b ca 1814 ON (moved to farm in NY aft 1845) & Mary (Polly) HAYES b ca 1829 ON (13 children)

Their 8th child: William Henry MASSEY b1859 Ransler NY d1954 m1 Emma Ritta VanKoughnet in Ardoch, ON (5 children); m2 Hannah (Eva) VanKoughnet b1880 Ardoch (19 children)

Emma and Eva both d/o George VANKOUGHNET and Hannah HAYNES.

Their 11th child: Daniel MASSEY b ca 1866 USA married Amanda Elizabeth VANKOUGHNET b1777 Ardoch (15 children)

Elizabeth was also d/o George and Hannah.

Their 12th child: Ira Edward MASSEY b1868 Fine, NY and moved to Ompah, ON, married Mina Sophie VANKOUGHNET b1871 Ardoch (13 children)

Mina was also a d/o George and Hannah.
