I am just starting on my search. My Great Grandfather was named Nels Peter Nielsen. He was married to Johanna. They had a son named Holgar who was my grandfather. Also had 2 daughters named Helga (one died very young) the other was born later but named the same. I do not know where in Denmark they originated from. I believe they came through NY and Canada. Ended up in Lakeview, Montcalm Cty, Michigan, USA. Any of these names sound familiar? I have copies of some pictures.
