Surnames: Howe, Littan, Andrews
Hello again,
I've been busy researching all the clues you gave me. This family can be found in 1895 in Minneapolis. In that census they have a son named Willie Littan Howe b. abt 1880 and daughter Mabel/Maybelle who is 7, b. abt. 1888.
Then I found Dora Littan Howe, a widow, living in Mineapolis with her daughter and son-in-law (whose marriage you found) and their 5 mo. old daughter Dorothy M. Andrews in the 1910 census.
From this I am suposing that Richard O. Howe and family only lived in Rainy River for a few years. We know he was there in 1906 when his daughter married and still there in 1908. By 1910 his wife is listed as a widow and living in MN.
Can you tell me if there are any death records available for Rainy River? I do not have access to the International Records at Ancestry.com so I cannot use them as a resource.
Thank you again for giving me all these leads. Diane
