I am trying to trace descendants of the family of Lachlan / Laughlan Lamont McPhail (1851 - ) who was living in Rat Portage (later Kenora) with his wife Mary McIntyre (1861 - ) between 1891 and 1911.

Lachlan was working as a bridge builder or carpenter in his early years in Rat Portage, but by 1911 was a jailer in Kenora.

His children were:

Isabella Margaret, 1888 (unmarried and living in Winnipeg in 1957)
Madeline May, 1890 (unmarried and living in Winnipeg in 1953)
Lachlan Lamont, (1892 - 1892)
Laughlin Lionel, 1896 (Bank Clerk in Kenora ~1915)
Elizabeth Victoria, 1904
