Classification: Query
How can she be a granddaughter born Scotland when all the McGregor's were born Ontario.
Could it say adopted daughter?
She is not with them on 1901 census.

Found this birth Horton Tsp, Renfrew County

Alfred Hood, 7 Oct 1908, Horton Tsp, lot 4, con 4, mother Jessie Hood, not married, servant, Registration # 043735.

Alfred Hood died 7 Oct 1908, lot 4 conc 4 Horton Tsp, lived a few hours, Dr Mann was attending physician.

There are too many Jessie Hoods on 1891 Scottish census to sort out without knowing her parents.
If she immigrated in 1892 she would have come with her parents.

Could she have taken the name McGregor?
There is a Jessie McGregor, 24, born Holten Tsp, d/o Duncan McGregor and Marion Hart married George Duncan McNabb, 21.
at Arnprior. 31 March 1913.

I cannot find a Duncan/Marion McGregor on census nor a Jessie of the right age.
