Hey, I consider myself metis and am of aboriginal descent. I wish to get my membership with the MNO. However, I am having a hell of a time finding my ancestors on here, and I was hoping someone could help me. My lineage is as follows, starting with me.

Kelsey Scott (1994) (Parents Don and Christine Scott [nee Johnson])
Christine Johnson (1969) (Parents Sharon Gagne and Carl Johnson)
Sharon Gagne (Parents George Willard Neil Gagne, Mary Christina Beverly Benkhe)
George Willard Neil Gagne (1923) (parents Margaret Laronde, Alfred Gagne)
Margaret Laronde (Parents Andrew Laronde and Mary Young)
Andrew Laronde (Parents Toussaint Laronde and Margret Cousineau) Mary Lajuenesse Young (Parents John Young and Laurie Aubrey)
Toussaint Laronde (1818-1904) Parents Toussaint Antoine Denys Laronde and Marie Kekgicakwoe

So far my only lead is that apparently Mary Young was half Ojibwe and adopted by the Young family.
They lived primarily in the Renfrew area and around Quebec. Any help would be most appreciated!!!
