I have an update on Alexandre Gervais. I just found out that his birth name was Alphonse Alexandre Gervais. His parents were Alphonse aka Idelphonse Gervais & Celina LaChance. He was born on 15 June 1872. Celina passed away on 29 Dec 1872. Alphonse/Idelphonse remarried about a year later ~ his second wife was Delphine Poulin.
I had a hunch way back that Celina may have been his mother! Now I have to go down the "LaChance" road, not the "Poulin" road I have been on. Any body related???!
