LOOKING FOR DESCENDANTS OF ALBERT DICKSON OF COLLINGWOOD

Surnames: DICKSON/MILLER/CANNELL/TWIGGER/MCHENRY
Writing for help from the UK.

We are looking for the descendants of Albert Guest Dickson born 1871 and his wife Florence Kate (Meers) Dickson born 1873, both in Birkenhead England.

Albert & Florence Dickson emigrated to Canada in 1907 with their children Ernest William b1894, Mary Elizabeth b1896, Florence Gertrude b1899, Edith Pauline b1903 and Isabel Rhoda b1906. The Dickson family settled in Collingwood where two more children - Albert Ellis b1907 and Katherine? b1910 were born. Albert Dickson was a baker and we believe he had a bakery business in Collingwood.

We do not know when either Albert or Florence Dickson died. Of their children, we know that Ernest Dickson married Ethel Miller in August 1920, Mary Elizabeth Dickson married James Cannell in Sept 1916 and Florence Gertrude Dickson married Harold Twigger in June 1924, all in Collingwood. And Edith Pauline Dickson died in Oct 1918 and is buried in All Saints Cemetery.

If anybody should know of the whereabouts of Dickson descendants in the Collingwood area or know anything of the family, family descendants this side of the Atlantic (UK) would like to hear.

Albert Guest Dickson was the youngest child of William Dickson b1826 Scotland and Mary Ann McHenry b1831 Ireland and we hope finding his relatives might provide us with clues to our further family research.

Can anybody offer any help?
