I'm sorry to say that I omitted a word in my original post to you. The death cert. says that he lived 6 months at last residence, 15 years in Province (that would be Ontario) and had been in Canada since 1911. Perhaps he spent some time in another province. The info on the death cert. was done by "The Chief Coroner" not a family member. It does not say where the coroner got the info. Perhaps it came from Mr. Hillman's doctor and of course the doctor only knew what Mr. Hillman told him. However, from my experience I can tell you that even when the info is from a family member it is often incorrect.
I assume Gerrand is a street in the city of Toronto. It also said he died at St. Michael's Hospital and place of burial was Queens University, Kingston. Perhaps his body was donated to Queens University (???) or perhaps there is a cemetery there - I have no idea. You might consider contacting the university to get that question answered.
I hope all of this is of some help to you.
