Yes! I'm a ggg grand daughter of Roderick O'Brien & Ann Parkin through their son Jesse (Alfred's younger brother). Roderick was the eldest son of Patrick O'Brien and Ann (Nancy) McDonell. After his British regiment disbanded
after the War of 1812, Patrick eloped with young Ann to Montreal but they seem to have returned to her father's land in Charlottenburg. She died young, leaving two sons Roderick & John, and Patrick remarried. Lots more. Delighted to share!
