Surnames: McIntosh McPhail McDonald
I am trying to figure out the early lineages based upon hints from the St. Andrews West parish registers. Are any of the following couples related somehow?
John McIntosh (1747-1827) & Catherine McPhail (had at least 6 daughters, ? sons)
Donald McIntosh & Mary Stuart (m.1829)
John McIntosh & Anna McPhail (m. 1829)
John McIntosh (son of John) & Mary McGillis (m. 1806)
John McIntosh & Mary McDonald
Angus McIntosh & Catherine McTavish
Angus McIntosh (blacksmith) & Mary McAuley
Donald McIntosh & (1) Catherine McDonald (2) Janet Fraser (m. 1826)
Alexander McIntosh & Catherine McDonald
I suspect I am somehow descended from the first couple and that some of the other couples are also descended (sons or grandsons) of the same.
