I wanted to make a suggestion that you try Gary Bishop of the Saint Joseph Island Historical society. He has been very helpful with me and My Algoma Ontario Genealogy searches and does family history on Sault Saint Marie Ontario and Nippising and Sudbury. You just might find what you looking for through him. it can't hurt to try...
