PS. I used to live and work one year in Sudbury 1982-1983. So I know quite a lot about the local Finnish communities and Finnish names and history in that area. But only three years ago I found out that street name; Suikkola Road. I have visited the place once, but I didn't have time to dig the local historical archieves to find out more. None of my living relatives neither in Sudbury nor in Finland have ever spoken about any person name Suikkola who have lived in Whitefish area or anywhere in Canada (except myself). Some USA archives know the name at the end of 1800 (Finns which has moved from Finland to USA). However as far as I know the name is not used by anyone there anymore.
