The Jerretts/Jarretts are on my husband's side and so it was up to me to do the digging. I stumbled upon Anthony (Tony) Jerrett's pictures on the 52nd Battalion's website. I also have his WWI Attestation Paper.
Tony was born 14 Feb 1888 in Cavendish, Newfoundland and died 21 Nov 1928 age 40.
I recalled seeing Tony's name in the Jerrett family birthday book.
Feb. 14 ... A.J. Jerrett born 1888 ... shot Nov. 20/1928 at Hurkett, Ontario by Rotmark. My mother-in-law told me that it was a hunting accident. Survived the war and was shot while hunting!
The picture of Elias and Dinah Jerrett are my husband's gr-gr grandparents who had a farm on Wolf River in Dorion, near Hurkett. I did see a picture of Tony at the farm among the family pictures and will try to find it for you.
I do have lots of information on the Jerrett/Jarrett family back to the 1700s when they first came to Newfoundland from England.
Hope this helps.
