Looking for information on James Gurney who died in a logging accident before his son Lewis was born (Feb. 16, 1964, possibly in Toronto, Ontario) James' wife, Mary Jane remarried a Willet, possibly before Lewis was born. Two more children were born to that marriage, one being Charles Willet. I believe Charles later moved to Michigan.

Lewis Gurney moved to Taylor County Wisconsin in 1887.
