I don't if you have tried the following but, you could go to aftercare@barnardos.org.uk and ask for an application to fill out to get info on the people you are looking for, I did this for my Grandmother. or you can go to www.barnardo.org.uk. You can even get info from www.tweetybirdgenealogy.com this website gives you the info on thier passage over to Canada.
