I'm looking for any information on the parents of John Dix, born July 18, 1771 in Knapwell, Cambridgeshire, England and died June 9, 1856 in Little Britain, Ontario, Canada.

In the oldest record I have, the Dix Family History written by Rev. Dix, they are only recorded as Grandmother and Grandfather Dix. Grandfather Dix may have been born in 1740 in Cambridgeshire England, and I know he was a blacksmith, but the trail ends there. I have no information on his wife.

Any info would be appreciated, as well as any stories or photos anyone has on the more recent generations.
