Surnames: McEacherns in eldon twp. victoria County, Ontario
Just got your message on july 20, 2008. I live in Peterborough, ont. and am related to these McEacherns. My gg grandfather is John McEachern, my great grandfather name is Lachlan McEachern, my grandfather was Neil McEachern and my dad's name is John. This the closet I have come to connecting my gg grandfather John to the rest of the McEachern who came to Eldon Twp. Victoria County, Ont. To my knowledge gg grandfather, John was born in 1799 in Mull,my g grandfather Lachlan was born in 1836.
