Hello:William Cameron, b 1797,Quebec City to James Cameron , 26th of Foots and his wife, Mary. James died March 1800 and was buried from the Anglican Cathedral, same city.
Charles,born 1783 ,son of James and a Drummer in the 26th
of Foots from 1790- 1800 discharged one month after James death. In Robertson's Landmarks of York (Toronto)1802 Charles, Mary and sister Ann are at St. James Church (now Cathedral) for the marriage of Mary to John Berry, I believe this Mary to be the widow of James, mother of Charles, Ann and William. In 1808 Charles married Sarah Houghton and Ann married Philip Haines. Did William live with his mother?I do not have any mention of him until
recently and he was part of a family which has the same DNA gene markers as Charles, mine and others. He is said to have lived at Wellesley, near Kitchener-Waterloo. Does anyone have knowledge of this family? Thank you so much for any bit.
