Surnames: Proctor, Campbell
I have two Great Something Granduncles who lived in Drayton Ontario from 1870 to about 1882. Then they moved west to Sask for health resons. A death notice printed in 1894 in Ft Qu'Appelle states that they started a newspaper in Drayton called the New Era and one in Palmerston called the Telegraph.
Their names were Frederick S. and Thomas Proctor. For a time their sister, Emma Proctor Campbell and her family lived in Drayton (enough for the 1881 Census). While I believe they did not leave any remnants of the family when they moved west, (and Emma returned to Chicago) I would like to find if there is any remnants of the papers they founded and later closed.
