Ca;t. Hector S. McKay
I am researching the 2nd York Militia, also known as the Burlington Heights Militia, at the time of the War of 1812. In 1803, he served as an Ensign in the Glengarry Militia. Enlisted Apr. 14, 1812 (SK). Served Oct. 17 to 24, 1812 (D216). Served July 30 to 31, 1813 (D319). At Hutes Huas near St. David’s, July 8 to 24, 1814 (D151)(D155). At Burlington Heights July 25 to 29, 1814 (D147). Wounded at Lundy’s Lane, July 25, 1814 (SK). I am looking for additional information on Capt. McKay. Where did he live? When did he arrive in the Niagara area?
