Anyone who might have any info on Hugh McKay b)2/12/1845 PEI and Annie McKay b)3/7/1948 PEI please feel free to email me direct at kbietz@aol.com. They are my GGgrandparents and I have little to no info on them. What has been passed down through the yrs.is their parents are from Scotlanddon't know where, Annie's maiden name was also McKay could be spelled MacKay not sure. They went from PEI to Chicago, Il don't know what yr.where in 1874 thay had a daughter Margaret M. McKay(Kennelly) my Ggrandmother.Hugh was a carpenter by trade. They then moved to a town called Atlantic in Cass County Iowa.They are both buried in the Atlantic Cemetery.Copies of their obituaries said his fathers name was Donald, didn't give his mother's name and her parent's were Donald and Margaret McKay or MacKay.
They had three children there, Johnny b)1877 don't have a decease date, Kitty b)12/14/1878 d)1/4/1881 and George Hugh
born 9/12/1893 d)8/11/1929.
