Je me demande s'il y aurait une livre sur l'histoire de Bécancour?

marriage of Joseph Chamberland and Marie Guarnache

The parish record indicates that Joseph was of St-Gregoire, it says he was still a minor, and Marie was a minor of age 20 (I believe that I have found her baptismal record in Becancour as Marie-Modeste Guarnache in 1796).

His parents were Joseph Chamberland and Marie Godin apparently of "St-Denys", which I am presuming is the one in Kamouraska.

I have been unable to find any trace of the parents, or of son Joseph. I have found no other children of Joseph Chamberland and Marie Godin.

Can anyone provide any leads on this family.

Looking for death date for Honore Deshaies, b. Mar 15, 1850, Ste. Gertrude, (Becancour) Nicole, m. Exilia Masse Jul 20, 1874, Ste. Gertrude. Previously married to Rose de Lima. Died after 1927.

Hello - I have a M Mary Champaux b. ca 1797 poss dau of Amable Champoux m. Louis Moreau 14 Oct 1817 Becancour. Children - Pierre [my direct line]. George, S/Lifroi Gifford, Odelie, Leon, Levin?, Seraphine, Mathide, Agenor, Eusabe. Could this be a connection to your Champoux line in Becancour?
