Usually the Find A Grave memorial pages will have a bar off to the right where a photo of the grave/headstone can be requested to be taken by a volunteer in the area of the cemetery.
Mont-Marie is the first cemetery I've encountered where no such photo request function exists.
I've just entered all the known burials for one branch of my husband's family into the Mont-Marie database.
All the burials were prior to Mont-Marie having been created and had been in the original parish cemetery for Notre-Dame-de-la-Victory.
They were moved from their original location in 1885 and are part of the mass burial of bodies from the original cemetery that had been on rue St-Georges.
I don't expect anyone to take a photo and attach it to each individual entry I just made but I would love it if someone would take a photo of the memorial on the mass grave and attach it to the main page for Mont-Marie for me and all the other descendants of the 15,000 or so people who are in that mass burial.http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=19...
The mass grave, "Exhumation des corps de l'Ancien Cimetière" is located in the Section Lauzon, Quartier Sainte-Anne of Cimetière Mont-Marie.
Thanks so much.
