Thank you for the lead. I followed up and they are the same persons that are on the 1891 Hatley census that I was quering. The female name is Napilona Patten, William and Mary are her parents as stated. I found out the Napilona died in Massawippi in 1892 and William Sr. went back to Vermont and died in 1901at the age of 69. I have not been able to locate William Jr. or the children listed on the 1891 Census Fredrick age 8 and female child age 3. On the same 1891 census (page 2) there is a Ham Family and my Grandmother was a domestic servant for them and appears on the 1901 census and again on the 1911 census where it states "adopted". My grandmother never used the Ham name. My grandmother also had a brother named Fred. Thanks again, I really appreciste the information. Best regards, Debby
