I am doing research on my maternal grandmother's family. Her mother's name was was Margaret Paquet and she was born in Metis, Quebec in about 1838. She married Hilaire Splude in Miguasha, Quebec, which is on the Gaspe Peninsula. If this name means anything to you, please contact me at rayene@san.rr.com
